Everybody talks about air pollution and many of us suffer from this. There is a good overview referring to the development of air pollution, especially in China. Writing with a pen empowers the brain

Nowadays people more and more often use their electronic device to write, to put down notes. In former days people used to write with a pen. What is the difference one could ask.

Current research shows that there is a big difference. If you put down notes by electronic device the capacity of memorizing is not as good as if you put down notes with a pen by writing.

Which muscles are stretched?

I am relieved, now we know excatly which muscles are stretched when we do specific exercises.

Whether you’re a chronic sitter, a daily exerciser, or a weekend warrior, you probably know stretching is a critical habit. By sending blood flow to your muscles and helping your joints move through their full range of motion, stretching improves your posture and athletic performance while lowering your risk of pain and injury.

Where we like to be touched, and where we don’t

The closer the person in social relationship, the larger the body area this person is allowed to touch. The bodily maps of touch were similar in all five cultures studied. Social touching thus seems to be a biologically determined and evolutionarily developed way to form social relationships. The results were recently published in Proceedings of the National Academy.

It is really worth looking into the recent study conducted by Aalto University and the University of Oxford. It shows that the human body has a precisely defined touch maps that are tightly linked to social touch that is allowed in different kinds of human relationships. It is also said that this is relevant to many or even all cultures.

I was asked to translate the summary of my books on various concepts and working fields in bioenergetics nto English. Here you will find the list of summaries. The books are writtenin German. But perhaps if you are interested anf know someone who speaks German it will be of some help to you. The book “bioenergetics in practise” ia already translated into Italien since many years. The book on body language will be published in Chinese in spring 2016 in Peking.

Women`s equality development in China

The information office of the State council has issued on Tuesday a white paper on gender equality and women’s development in China. The content refers to immanent economy, women and education, women and health, women and decision-making and so on.

It`s worth looking and thinking about. Equality or men and women is a basic human right because all humans are equal. So this must also be found on all Levels of society, behavior and relationship. In China there is a long history of surpressing women and though having got the same rights some decades ago there is still on the unofficial level a lot of unequal reference to women by society.

Person of the year – Angela Merkel

TIME magazine named the German chancellor Angela Merkel as „Person of the year 2016“. It`s said that she is the chancellor of the free world. Germany’s chancellor was praised by the magazine for her leadership on everything from Syrian refugees to the Greek debt crisis.

“Chinese youth admire American culture but remain wary of US policy” says the New York Times.

This means that young Chinese admire the American way of life, they love the free speech but on the other hand they say that the Chinese government doesn’t show some much weakness abroad. If you want to read more about this phenomena, please have a look.
