Just stunned shame

some days again an Indian was raped and brutalized sexually abused. This time it was a 6 year old little girl. I can`t find any words to talk about just to post the link to the Times of India.

At the same time I want to bring into mind again how often this happens mostly to woman and girls, not only in India. You read about sexual raping and abuse all over the world: Syria, Egypt, Afghanistan, Iran but also in Europe and the US.

What kind of rude affect and psychological state of mind and political interest is hidden?

What does this mean considering the fact that we do no longer live in the middle ages?

How to come to a good decision

A weak man has doubts before a decision, a strong man has them afterwards.

― Karl Kraus

  • What do you prefer in your life and what kind of experiences do you have by this?
  • How do you experience the other one, if he or she does it the other way around?

In any case enjoy it the way you do it. 🙂

With creativity against smog

well Bejing just like other big cities in China suffer from terrible smog and air pollution. We often experience similar smog over here in Germany and Europe. Thus not as intensive as people in China have to endure.

There is another interesting difference between China and Europe. It is the way how people react to this. Over here we protest, we demonstrate for better air. We criticize politics and companies and of course all those car drivers, who better could take the train in these days.

But we are not as creative as the Chinese are when you look at the wonderfully made masks.

Have a look and enjoy. But don`t forget, good air, healthy breathing is one important base to live on or to live by.

Stranger – Danger or:

 (N)ever talk to a stranger

I of course agree to the six rules for children in order to prevent any kind of bad experience, so that they can keep their boundaries.

But to be honest, I want to talk about meeting strangers in the life as youth and adult.

Globalization is based on meeting strangers, strange people, strange cultures, strange behavior. So, to survive or ……….

Money is not all

The economic and cultural change goes rapidly in China. Some may call it a cultural clash, some may call it just development, some may call it a political challenge, some may all it not acceptable or what ever.

Fact is that in contrast to other cultural change just like in India the Old and the New often exist side by side. Without any connection. You might get the impression of some underlying implicit protest which is hidden in such fotos as shown in the article below. Or you might get the impression of just “Both together”. Just like: it is like this.

Interesting is the idea of how strong the attachment to the old tradition is. ANd the fight for this traditional attachment. In this case, people were offered more than € 150 000 but refused to take the money.

So also in China money does not rule all.

Even if you cannot read German. Look at the fotos and you will understand.

love vs. politics

An American “hero” and an integer director of the CIA becomes dangerous for US politicians and some kind of political inner circle. This political and social affair mirrors the bigoted US attitude towards love, security and politics. Up to the exposure of this love affair Petraeus`image was stable, clean and integer. Her image also. People, society and politicians trusted him.

From one moment to the other all this broke down. The image broke down. And people now believe that one could no longer trust this ( the same) man.

In other, former cases like this, politicians decided in another way. Not this kind of publicity and no big media hype. Not this kind of hysterical prosecuting. Not this prompt demand towards Petraeus to quit his job at once.

What is the matter now, today, in this case? Why do offcials ……………..

Figures reveal that given the choice, most men will plump for a curvy girl

Again a convincing proof for the fact that there are two realities: the scientific based and the every-day-life-reality. Both not always go the same way. 😉

“There has been a survey and it tells you what you already know: when it comes to women, the vast majority of blokes prefer them well rounded.

It seems their ideal girlfriends are pneumatic, not flat-tyred. They’d rather negotiate sweeping curves than sharp shoulders………”

The US hurricane: knowing  about it and feeling it is not the same

The big hurricane shockes the US. New York`s major talked about what happened while Lydia Calas showed the people how it felt to be there. These two people and their performance outline the big difference between words and facial expression, nonverbal expressio9n and body language. The last really touches the people.

Lydia Calas is poetry in motion and she’s opera for the eyes. Lydia Calas IS the Maria Callas of sign language interpreters.

By popular demand, Lydia Calas, …………………
