Stereotype: queueing or not queueing (journey to China No.2)

I was told that there is a lot of chaos in China. Chaos at the bus stop. Chaos at the ticket office of the Metro. Chaos at the Train.

I also had read this in some clever books written by some clever journalist. And when I visited Beijing some weeks ago I was disappointed because of the people queueing quite accurately waiting for the bus. Disappointed because the stories I was told, turned out to be a story. A story which did not mirror what ……………….

Stereotype: tall and tiny (journey to China 1)

I just returned from my journey to China. It was an amazing experience. I will try to talk a bit about various impressions within the next weeks. Of course I had read quite a lot about China. Of course I had talked to friends of mine about where I was supposed to go. Of course I had my thinking or believes about China not yet discovered as a stereotype thinking. 🙂

Here is one impressing and obvious example: many people in Western countries believe that the Chinese is tiny and the Western in comparison to the tiny Chinese is quite tall.

To be true I have to disappoint you. It is not like this as shown on the photo. I myself am 1,80 m tall and very often I felt quite as tall most of the Chinese around me. For example in the Metro of Beijing I looked around and saw just into the faces of the other People and they could just looked into mine. 🙂

And still there are interesting phenomena concerning the body shape of Chinese people. I will talk about this later.

Young Chinese don’t look back

A scientific research from Beijing-University shows that 87 % of young Chinese engineers and natural scientists don’t want to return to China after their studies. Though Chinese government and Chinese economy have done a big investment in improving the conditions and requirements for motivation this result seems to be an alarm-signal.

The loss of those well-trained and high-performing specialists is borne by a well-trained competent and creative base of talents.

Therefore China does a lot of ………..

The Psoas is:…..the orientation to the core of yourself (1)

If you guessed C, you’re correct. Buried deep within the core ofyour body, the psoas (pronounced “so-az”) affects every facet of your life, from your physical well-being to who you feel yourself to be and how you relate to the world. A bridge linking the trunk to the legs, the psoas is critical for balanced alignment, proper joint rotation, and full muscular range of motion. In yoga, the psoas plays an important role in every asana. In backbends, a released psoas allows the front of the thighs to lengthen and the leg to move independently from the pelvis. In standing poses and forward bends, the thighs can’t fully rotate outward unless the psoas releases. All yoga poses are enhanced by a released rather than shortened psoas. (When you reverse your orientation to gravity in inversions, however, the psoas must be toned as well as released to maintain proper spinal stability.)

Whether you suffer from ……….

“Discharging” is a survival activation

the production (charge) of energy through respiration and metabolism and discharge of energy in motion and movement are the fundamental processes of life. How much energy you have and how you use this energy, determines the way you respond to a situation, to life. The more energy you can put into free movement and expression, the better you can deal with different situations, with life.

I will talk about this later this week and will relate this to man, feeling, behavior and so on.

Please kee in mind discharging is a very normal process in life and a survival pattern or survival activation. Just have a look how this looks like.

Failure is…….

The phenomenon named “failure” is the interpretation of something what has happened and is not a fact.

Failure or the Feeling of failure is not a feature or quality of something but of you, of yourself.

This also means:

the more something called “Change” is connected with the feeling of value for yourself, with self-esteem, with your identity and career, the more things which happen are interpreted as “failure”.

Falling – Failing?

就算失败了,我会一次又一次的尝试。因为当我决定放弃的那一刻,我就真正的失败了。
If I fail, I try again, and again, and again. Because the moment I give up, is the moment I fail.
